Great day today. After 4 days of strong head winds & rain we finally got clear skies & absolutely no WIND! Haleulah!
As we left Alberta I couldn't help but feel my Dad was with me. He was born & raised in God's country, but had to go to Ontariarario for work. It must have been difficult to leave the Rockies for Hamilton "mountain" but Bert never complained that wasn't his style.

As we continued up over the mountains into BC the road was fantastic. Just keep the throttle locked & find the groove, swaying back & forth through the turns. The sun was shining, the day warming up, what more could you ask for. The odd land slide tunnel provided variety as well. If Alberta truly is God's country, BC is a close second. It reminded me a lot of the road heading up to Gros Morne Park in Newfoundland. Wow!
